We're VM Renovations, a London design and build team based in South East London. We renovate homes from the inside out: interiors, extensions, kitchens, bathrooms and gardens. With an architectural technologist leading the design and a director running every site, you deal with the same people from the first visit to the final snag.

Bathroom stripped back
The old layout had a separate WC next to the shower room. We modelled the new room in 3D first, then stripped out the old one.

The power of glulam
Structural works finished with an exposed glulam lattice. It let us use single beam trimmers around the rooflights, for a lighter ceiling.

Design before demolition
With an architectural technologist on the team, we plan layouts and build 3D models first, so the big decisions get made on screen, not with a sledgehammer.
Beautiful on any budget
VM was founded on the idea that beautiful homes shouldn't be reserved for big budgets. We work out where your money makes the most difference, then make it count.
Still here after handover
We keep you informed while we build, and we've gone back after completion to resolve snags and make sure the finish lasts. Our clients have said so in their own words.
How we work
Every project follows the same five steps: we visit and listen, we design and plan, we give you a clear quote, we build, and we hand over properly. Mauro shapes the design, often in 3D before anything is demolished. Vale runs the site from start to finish. You'll have progress updates along the way, and we don't disappear once the job is done.

Consultation
It starts with a conversation and a visit. We walk the space with you, listen to how you live, and talk honestly about what's possible, what matters most to you, and where the budget will make the biggest difference. You'll usually meet Mauro first.
- Step 02
Design and planning
Mauro turns the brief into layouts and, where it helps, a 3D model, so you can see the result before anything is demolished. On larger projects we work alongside architects such as District Architects, and plan the build in detail before work starts.

Clear quote
Once the scope is settled, we put together a quote that sets out the work involved, so you know what you're paying for. Changes happen on most building projects. When they do, we talk them through with you.
- Step 04
Build
Vale runs the site from start to finish, working with our network of trusted London trades. We keep you informed with progress updates and answer your questions as they come up. Amazing finishes come from careful planning. Cutting corners is not in our vocabulary.
- Step 05
Handover and aftercare
We walk through the finished space with you and work through any snags. We don't disappear once the job is done: we've gone back after completion to resolve issues and make sure the quality of the work lasts.

Mauro and his team worked on a refurbishment to replace outdated decor and old furnishings in the house, and delivered it timely with great precision to detail and care, patiently answering my many questions and always keeping us informed with progress updates. The quality of the finishing details they put in make the whole house seem almost brand new, and even after the handover they took care to make sure the quality of the refurbishment will last many years.
The VM team was always available and patient with us - they designed the large spaces in our home, helping us to best utilise the space we had.
