The brief
A four-bedroom house that needed a complete refresh. The clients wanted to replace outdated decor and old furnishings throughout, and the budget was on the lower side.
The challenge
Making a modest budget go a long way, and doing it quickly. The whole house needed bringing up to date at once, and the bathroom had an awkward layout, with a separate WC next to the shower room.
What we did
Working with District Architects, we improved the bathroom layout and built a 3D model of the finished room before anything was stripped out, so the clients could see it first. We fitted a brand new kitchen with a solid quartz worktop and new appliances, and made bespoke furniture for the house.
We put the budget where it shows. The entryway got custom wood work, a vertical slatted panel with round mirrors, and the kitchen got a feature splashback. Elevated finishes and unique feature pieces, on a lower budget. The clients had plenty of questions along the way, and we answered every one, keeping them informed with progress updates throughout.
The finish
A house completely refreshed and modernised in around two months. We were proud of the turnaround and the finishing touches. In the clients' words, the finishing details "make the whole house seem almost brand new", and even after handover we took care to make sure the work will last.
