Privacy notice

VM Renovations Ltd is the controller of your personal information. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15268611, with our registered office at 44 Vernham Road, London SE18 3HB. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@vmrenovations.co.uk.

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the type of project, your budget range and timeframe, and your message. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you share that way.

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like to go ahead, to discuss and quote for your project. We don't use them for marketing, we don't sell them, and we don't share them with anyone except the service providers that help us run our website and email, who act on our instructions.

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the spam check on our contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) and our cookie-free visitor statistics. Messages sent through the form are delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. Both act only on our instructions.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we use your information because you've asked us to respond to you and may want to enter into a contract with us, and because we have a legitimate interest in replying to enquiries about our work.

We keep enquiry details for no longer than necessary. If your enquiry doesn't lead to a project, we delete it once it's clear it is no longer needed. If you become a client, we keep the records we need to deliver your project and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites, so there's no cookie banner. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

This site doesn't use cookies. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it or delete it, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email info@vmrenovations.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office, or ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
